Tidal Wave Etude “United Front”
This composition is so ginormous it took two pictures to illustrate its magnitude.
“The Build” of the Tidal Wave is portrayed by low daunting octaves building towards the
second picture entitled “The Release” which is full octaves at full volume in a very dramatic run down the piano.
The Fuchsia Wave Etude “Imagination”
This bright uplifting ditty rushes to the crest of the wave to rollick
playfully down to inspiration.
The Sea Foam Green Etude “Persistence”
This tune diligently climbs the piano with patience and drive until
it reaches the top where it dramatically fall to the inevitable goal.
The Light Blue Wave Etude “Fluff”
This tranquil peaceful exercise floats gently upward to a heavenly, calming descent.
The Red Wave Etude “Anger”
This wave sounds nothing short of rage as the musical phrases aggressively rivet
up to the apex, where the temper tantrum begins, then plummeting to serious
madness!
The Pale Wave Etude “Spirit”
This song is very light and uplifting. Spry with playful splashing at the end.
The Ultra Marine Wave Etude “Freedom”
This patriotic number rushes up the piano with force and courage, descending with march like precision.
The Brown Wave Etude “Anxiety”
This dark distressful composition swirls up to crisis. Followed by dramatic crashes to
despair then relief.
Th Green Wave Etude “Irish”
This jiglike ditty is a lively dance up the piano, followed by childlike romping back down. Listen for that old Irish tune “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”!
The Orange Wave Etude “Sense of Humor”
This floppy romping ditty is very clown like until the break of the wave happens and sounds like laughing! Be sure to listen for the punch line at the end!
